1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Legal Notice AI (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms are governed by the laws of India and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

2. Description of Service

Legal Notice AI provides AI-powered analysis of legal notices and generation of draft responses. The Service uses Large Language Models (AI) to: (a) extract key information from uploaded legal documents, (b) identify applicable laws, sections, and limitation periods, (c) generate draft response letters, and (d) provide case management tools.

3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

• AI-generated responses are drafts only and may contain errors, outdated legal citations, or incorrect analysis
• AI output must be reviewed, verified, and modified by a qualified advocate before use
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legal validity of AI-generated content
• Case law citations generated by AI must be independently verified as AI can produce hallucinated or incorrect citations
• Limitation period calculations should be verified against the original statute

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for: verifying all AI-generated content before use, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and professional ethics rules, maintaining the confidentiality of your account, and not uploading content that violates any law or third-party rights.

5. Intellectual Property

Documents you upload remain your property. AI-generated outputs are provided for your use under a non-exclusive license. The Service's software, design, and branding are our intellectual property.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Legal Notice AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from: use of or inability to use the Service, any errors in AI-generated content, any legal consequences of relying on AI-generated drafts, or any unauthorized access to your data. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Subscription & Payments

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. You may cancel at any time; the subscription remains active until the end of the billing period. Refunds are available within 7 days of initial purchase if you are unsatisfied. Free trial users have full access for the trial period with no obligation.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained during your subscription plus 30 days after account deletion. You may request immediate deletion of specific documents or your entire account by contacting support@legalnoticeai.com.

9. Prohibited Uses

You may not: use the Service for any illegal purpose, upload malicious content, attempt to reverse-engineer the AI models, resell or redistribute AI outputs at scale without attribution, or impersonate a legal professional if you are not one.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
